Major project
Australian Dietary Guidelines Summary Booklet
Australian Dietary Guideline website
Major project Case study
The major project is an information guide for the government. I redesigned the original one and the website to add to their website for audiences to read.
-
The National Department of Health, Disability and Aging asks my company to redesign and reedit the Eating for Health Australian Dietary Guidelines Summary and build a website to increase the readability and memorably communicate the content to help Australian people get the best healthy eating knowledge support and raise their awareness of it, especially those who have ADHD or dyslexia. I can download the original file from the website ‘eating for health’. All relevant information can be found on the website.
-
The old version is not designed properly. It reads like a Word document. I need to redesign all the layout and change the typeface but still keep the document typeface ‘Helvetica’ as the body text to keep consistent with other files. The website will be embedded in their website so everything needs to keep consistent with the site style but also aligned with the booklet content. The content is a healthy document. I need to make them interesting with graphic elements and colours. The structure needs to be clear and concise with hierarchy.
-
I researched all the relevant documents on their website. They have all the detailed documents on the website. I find the images based on the information. I also researched which images are important so I need to keep them.
-
The information guide in the booklet and website provides different experiences. They are aesthetic, efficient and functional.
